campaign aims
find out more about healthy body, happy me
NDNA has been promoting the importance of a healthy lifestyle for young children for many years. With the growing problem of obesity and health problems in children we are focusing our efforts to try and help children, families and nurseries stay happy and healthy.
Our healthy body, happy me campaign has three core aims:
-
Raise awareness of the importance of good health and its affect on the happiness of children.
NDNA wants to remind nurseries and parents that following a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to be difficult - and showing children how to do this will make a real difference to their health and happiness, now and as they grow up -
Enable nurseries to help children stay happy and healthy.
NDNA provides its members with advice and support to help them give children they look after the best possible start in life -
Give children positive experiences of a healthy lifestyle.
The most important part of the campaign is to make sure children receive positive experiences of a healthy lifestyle.
This initiative is not just about giving information and education - all of our work focuses on enabling nurseries and families to give children a chance to participate in activities that are fun and lead to a healthy lifestyle.
